Before creating this company, we investigated the existing security companies and were not comfortable with their levels of training, professionalism, or response time, nor where they were based.
Nica Security offers a range of services from San Juan del Sur up to Guasacate and is based in Playa Amarillo, between Guacalito de la Isla, Aqua, Hacienda Iguanas, and Rancho Santana.
Our team leader and lead instructor has an extensive background in security. This company was created to answer a need we felt no one else offered: Properly trained, professional, proactive security personnel. A good security team reduces your risk of being a target, loss, and increases your physical and emotional wellbeing. If you believe your safety, health, and peace of mind are your most valuable assets, we are the right company for you.
Background and knowledge is important. Our lead Instructor comes with 30 years public and private sector experience.
Our well trained and experienced security team is dedicated to ensuring your safety, security, and protecting your property. We carefully screen and select our personnel to ensure that they meet our high standards. They are equipped with the knowledge, skills and drills necessary to handle the situations that may arise.
Our Lead Instructor Ben Morse made Playa Amarillo, El Gigante, Tola, Rivas his home in 2021. Trained, certified in multiple disciplines, he has been contracted as an instructor by law-enforcement, military, and private security teams. He teaches tactical response techniques that has saved lives, both to teams and 1 on 1 to civilians. He started in executive protection in 1988, was hired for multiple security details, in 1995 hired as West Coast Director of an international A-list bodyguard service. in 1997 he turned down the role of police officer, was appointed by Council to the Public Safety Commission where he was twice elected by his fellow commissioners to be Chair of the Commission for the maximum number of terms, and he remained on the Public Safety Commission for 10 years, until he termed out. An MMA fighter trained in Judo, Military Krav Maga, Israeli Special Ops Kapap, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and Muay Thai, he has coached kids up to pro fighters, helping them to championship wins. He has volunteered for decades and taught workshops in his neighborhood here in Nicaragua.
His focus now is training and managing NIca Security teams, assuring the highest level of security and safety possible for Nicaragua.
